Prayers

We extol you, our God and King, and we will bless your name forever and ever. Everyday we will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great are you, O God, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are greatly to be praised, and your greatness is unsearchable.

We praise you, O God; we acclaim you as Lord; all creation worships you, the Father everlasting. To you all angels, all the powers of heaven, the cherubim and seraphim, sing in endless praise: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory.

Our God and our Father, we look at our world and cry out, how long, O Lord? How long will sin and wickedness and injustice and suffering seem to win? We call out to you because you alone are our help. We have no other Helper. We have no other Savior. You are the God who made the heavens and the earth. You are the God who redeemed us through your Son Jesus Christ. Hear us O God, as we pray right now.

Our great God, we come before you this morning in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. We praise you because your steadfast love endures forever. You are the God of gods and the Lord of lords. There is no one in heaven or on earth who compares to you.

Our gracious God and heavenly Father, we come before you this morning to give you praise. We praise you as the God of all grace. You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin.
