Why Do You Sleep, O Lord?

Calling on the one who commands the wind and waves

O Lord, you who command the wind and the waves, why do you sleep in the middle of this storm? Wake up! We need your help. Wake up and rescue us, for the sake of your steadfast love, so that we might rest in your care today. We pray this in the name of Jesus, the One who stills the storm with a word. Amen.
