The risen Jesus dealt Death a death blow. His resurrection was the beginning of the end for Death.
What do you do with the mad that you feel? The fear? The sadness? The loneliness and frustration and envy and shame? The Psalms show us.
How do I survive the pandemic? That’s what I’ve been asking myself lately. Don’t misunderstand. I’m not trying to figure out how to avoid dying from COVID-19. What I’m asking is, how do I not become a spiritual, emotional, and mental wreck?
The Christian life is less like a pleasant stroll through the park and more like hand-to-hand combat on a battlefield. We face enemies both within and without. Fear or discouragement paralyzes us when we forget that the Divine Warrior is on our side to protect and defend us.
